Community Events

Part of our event involves making meaningful, encouraging cards to celebrate immigrants and the progress they have made. The cards will be donated to immigrants from the International Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to providing opportunities and resources for immigrants. Additionally, members will also help assemble 20 health kits, which will be donated to Health Protection and Education Services (HPES), a non-profit with a focus on providing health education and free health screening services to the AAPI community in St. Louis. This activity allows us to not only promote community engagement but also educate members about bridging health disparities that affect local AAPI populations. Ultimately, our event supports APAMSA’s mission by raising health awareness, uplifting the local immigrant community, and increasing access to health items for AAPI populations in St. Louis.
