Community Events

This health fair at the Hindu temple of Dayton, OH will provide essential health screenings and education to temple members. The event will include:
– Blood pressure checks
– Blood glucose screenings
– BMI measurements
– Hepatitis B education
Medical students will conduct the screenings under the supervision of a physician affiliated with Wright State University. This aligns with APAMSA’s mission to address unique health challenges facing AAPI communities and promote culturally sensitive care. By offering these services in a familiar, culturally appropriate setting, we aim to increase access to preventive care and health education for this underserved population.
