Community Events

This event is a community health fair hosted at one of the largest Lunar New Year festivals in Southern California, located in the San Gabriel Valley—a region with a predominantly AANHPI population, particularly older adults. By providing free health screenings and education in a culturally familiar setting, the event helps reduce barriers to preventive care and addresses health disparities affecting AANHPI and other marginalized communities. This initiative aligns with APAMSA’s mission to promote health equity, community engagement, and culturally responsive care.
