Community Events

The APAMSA Midwest Regional Conference brings together pre-medical students, medical students, physicians, researchers, and community leaders for a day of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, research poster presentations and judging, and networking. Inspired by our theme, “Hidden Gems in Medicine: A Fountain of Knowledge, Culture, and Care,” and Kansas City’s identity as the City of Fountains, the conference celebrates the often-overlooked people, perspectives, and innovations that advance culturally responsive care. By fostering leadership, advocacy, and health equity, the conference prepares future healthcare professionals to better serve AANHPI and other underserved communities while advancing APAMSA’s mission.
