Community Events

Asian Center of SE Michigan has been collaborating with Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital every other year to offer Asian American Health Expo for the past 10 years. The 2024 Health Expo will be on Sat, 5/4 from 10 am – 2 pm. We planned to have about 20 tables for a few health insurance Co/community organizations/vendors. They will be placed at the “Main Street” in the Hospital. Organizations should have their logo and displays and hopefully some trinkets for attendees.
* Any health related vendors (yoga studio, massage parlors etc) are welcome, best with some display or short services; e.g., a massage chair that attendee can try on, or a masseuse there to give attendees 5 min massage etc.
* There will be a series of health related seminars (details are still TBD) taking place by professionals, doctors and researchers.
* From 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, there will be a “Kitchen Demo”, to show a few healthy recipes. HF would provide their executive chef to host it.
* Tiffany Lee (All of Us program manager at Henry Ford) will give talks on “All of Us” program, Other topics will be health and nutrition related.
