Community Events

We are hosting a skin cancer screening event for underserved communities in the greater Fresno County in California’s Central Valley. Fresno County is home to one of the largest agricultural areas in the US, which poses concerns for long-term UV exposure conditions like skin cancer. Our mission for the event is to provide preventative services for community members while allowing students the experience to build medical history taking and physical exam skills. Community members will be provided with health screens, skin education, and UV-protective materials.
