“This event aims to provide healthcare services and resources to the Vietnamese community in Albuquerque, with a focus on supporting underserved and marginalized populations. The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) will offer free vaccines, addressing critical public health needs. Additionally, there will be health screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, and visual acuity. Resources will also be available to strengthen local support and provide information on healthcare access, wellness, and prevention.

This event aligns with APAMSA’s mission to promote the health and well-being of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities. By offering free public services and addressing health disparities within the Vietnamese community, it supports APAMSA’s values of advocacy, education, and health equity.”
