Community Events

As a member of the United Way of the National Captal Region, KCSC participates in several charity fairs throughout the campaign. During COVID-19 closures, many of these events were cancelled altogether or held virtually, making it impossible to distribute information about the All of Us Research Program. KCSC participates in these events where we know there to be a good turn out of Asian American federa; workers. The Pentagon is one of the prime locations for tabling because of the large number of Asians in the military and because many folks in the military have actually served in Korea and are interested in stopping by to talk about their experience with Korean culture. This is a good opening for us to talk about the AoURP.
